Awards
RECOGNITION
Our innovative Tune In Not Out website highlighting youth issues has beaten thousands of entrants to become an Official Honoree in the 2011 Webby Awards.
The Webby Awards are the leading international awards honouring excellence on the Internet, and have often been touted as the “Oscars of the Web”.
Tune In Not Out (www.tuneinnotout.com) was the only Australian-based website to become an honoree of the Youth website category, alongside business giants Disney, Lego and MTV’s Nickelodeon network.
The honour signifies an outstanding calibre of work, as the Webby Awards are the Internet’s most respected symbol of success, receiving nearly 10,000 entries from 60 countries worldwide.
The Official Honoree recognises the Tune In Not Out website’s excellence in content, structure and navigation, visual design, functionality, interactivity and overall experience.

Cycling Plus UK - Innovation of the Year
This award was given for a unique eBike manual which replaced the standard paper based handbook which was normally distributed with a new bicycle. The hard media based product offered the new bicycle consumer a fantastic new experience with video tutorials explaining how to maintain their bike, articles on cycling, an innovative safety equipment tutorial, and even a kids cycling computer game reminiscent of early coin-ops.
It beat other cycling industry giants such as Shimano, Specialized and Cannondale to take the coveted spot.
Amazingly, this was the first commercial project that our Managing Director, David Shering had ever created, and it went into production by UK-based Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative (one of the biggest cycle retailers in Europe) with over quarter of a million copies being produced.
