TUNE IN NOT OUT
Dubbed 24hr TV for life’s challenges, this website features a unique blend of design, usability, functionality and great content.
Handbuilt were approached to create an effective website that allowed a small team to have a big presence, and our brief was to engage 16-24 yr olds – not an easy task! During our online strategy and business planning, we were able to detect that the main constraint our client would face would be content creation and management.
By planning and integrating a powerful suite of administration tools, the Tune In Not Out (TINO) admin staff can quickly upload or link video based content from anywhere on the Net, for instant display in the engaging interface. The admin tools go one step further by making the website content creation process incredibly fast and simple, so that precious admin time can be spent sourcing or writing content.
Colour coding the sections helps the end-user understand where they are, and clean vibrant styling gives the site a fresh, confidence inspiring atmosphere.
The website has received international recongition with a recent Webby Honoree, at the 15th Webby Awards.
TAS SAFF
Award winning gourmet saffron growers Tas-Saff commissioned Handbuilt Creative to create a website worthy of their exquisite product.
Gram for gram, saffron is more expensive than gold, and the brief with this project was to naturally showcase the product. During the online strategy and planning phase we established that the website had to be sumptious in it’s appearance to make the saffron feel high quality, delicate and edible. Content had to be rich and detailed, explaining every aspect of saffron production and grading to help increase the brand’s credibility and awareness as the best saffron available.
Due to the nature of the colour of saffron we chose a dark complimentary colour palette to make the fantastic saffron colour really sing.
MACHINE DNA
Wow… how do you make an IT consultant’s website stand out? There are literally hundreds of these individuals in every city.
During the online strategy and planning phase with this project, we established the business need for the website to be seen as remarkable – to be memorable. That’s why we chose to create a powerful user interface which used bold colours and high quality imagery to instantly set the tone (and role) of the site, whilst gently releasing more detailed content as requested.
Giving our clients a device to use in other areas of their business is another important aspect of our work, because we understand that running and promoting a business is not limited to the Internet.
